The Just BASIC Newsletter Index is designed to store information about the Just BASIC Newsletters for easy retrieval of pertinent articles. The information is stored in two random access files.

Two .bmp files are also required for the GUI display

The user can ADD records to JBarticlesID.dat and EDIT those records. In this current version (v1.1), the user cannot DELETE a record.

ADD an article with the ADD button located to the right of the Just BASIC logo. ADD the title of the article, then click OKAY. Once the title has been entered and saved, additional information can be entered by clicking the EDIT button. The EDIT button is also located to the right of the Just BASIC logo.

Select an article by mouse clicking an article in the list. Once selected, that article may be EDITed by clicking the EDIT button located to the right of the Just BASIC logo. In EDIT mode, find and click any of these buttons

EDIT Author
EDIT Issue
EDIT Notes

SAVE or CANCEL the edited changes to select a different article or ADD a new article.

The user can ADD records to JBauthorsID.dat. At present (v1.0), once entered these files can be neither EDITed nor DELETEd.

The Just BASIC Newsletter Index is released as open source. You may freely modify this code for your own personal use, but the program must retain this wording at the beginning of the code.
